What sets Pine Haven apart from other venues?
Our amenities, on-site lodging, and location! Pine Haven offers central air/heat, large indoor restrooms, a bridal suite + groomsmen quarters, a fully equipped prep kitchen, and a full liquor license. Our event space, cabins & RV sites are situated at the base of Storm Mountain on 19 acres of Black Hills National Forest.

Which dates are available?
Please click on the Events Calendar tab at the top of the page to view our current availability. Pine Haven Venue & Lodging is open for events and lodging rentals from mid April to mid November and hosts events every day of the week. We are closed for the winter months.

How much can we expect to spend?
We have pricing options to fit everybody! From $800 small events to $12,000 3-day, all inclusive packages, and everything in between!

What kind of onsite lodging do you offer?
Pine Haven Lodging has 30 cabins within walking distance of the venue! There are double queen and king bed options available. All feature a full bath, kitchenette, & kid’s loft. We also have 30 full-hookup RV sites, a swanky shower house, + guest laundry.

How many guests can Pine Haven Venue accomodate?
We can seat 250 guests at a combination of round & rectangular banquet tables. Additional seating is available outside on our cozy patio, complete with gas fire pits and outdoor sofas.

Do you host other types of events?
Absolutely! We’ve hosted family reunions, yoga retreats, memorial services, birthday parties, and more! Fill out our contact form above for more information and pricing.

Is lodging open to the public?
Yes! Both our log cabins & RV sites are open to the public. You do not have to be a guest of an event to be a guest of Pine Haven Lodging. All sites are booked on a first come, first serve basis.

What are our catering options?
Pine Haven Venue houses a full catering prep kitchen. This gives you OPTIONS! You can hire the caterer of your choice, food truck, or even prepare your own meal. Prep kitchen use is included with each package.

What's the alcohol situation?
We have a complete liquor license, as well as a stocked bar, + many fun, local options! We also offer extras like a mimosa bar, whiskey bar, kegs + craft cocktails. Bar staff is included with each wedding package.

Are there any additional fees?
We pride ourselves on comprehensive + transparent pricing. We do not require that you purchase event insurance or bar minimums. There are optional add-ons where our staff takes care of packing up decor, bussing tables, etc.

Can our dog be a part of our day?
Absolutely! We just ask you keep your pet on a leash at all times. We do have dog-friendly cabins as well.

What's included?
A combination of round & rectangular banquet tables, cocktail tables, wooden cross-back chairs, napkins & table cloths, outdoor ceremony seating, a rough-cut pine arbor, full bar staffed with bartenders, an on-site Pine Haven venue manager, + a night or two in our custom-built honeymoon cabin (just to name a few).

Can we have a rehearsal dinner?
Yes! Our comprehensive wedding packages allow for single day, two day, and full weekend booking. This allows for OPTIONS! (think: rehearsal dinner, early set-up, Sunday brunch, great location to open gifts with family)

What about inclement weather?
Rain on your wedding day is good luck! And don’t worry, we can accommodate. Pine Haven is well-equipped to host an indoor ceremony.

Where can I get ready?
Pine Haven has a beautiful bridal suite in the loft area of the venue. This area will accommodate the entire bridal party and is carefully curated for optimal photo ops! The boys also have their own groomsmen suite across the hall. This room features a mini fridge, bar, smart TV, and ample seating.

Honeymoon cabin details?
Our custom-built honeymoon cabin is included with each wedding package. This cabin features upscale amenities such as a memory foam king bed, double-headed shower, electric fireplace, and a private back porch.

Do you have any add on's?
We have a post-event cleanup add on + an all-inclusive add on. The post-event cleanup allows for you to walk away at the end of the evening and leave the cleaning to us! We will box your decor + have it ready for pickup the following morning. The all-inclusive allows for you to relax on the big day, and lets us do the heavy lifting. We will handle your reception + ceremony set up, top off waters during the reception, bus tables, and keep everything looking tidy! Please inquire for more details.
